Marketplace Commission Terms
These terms explain how HotelsBidding earns commission when a traveler booking is completed through the marketplace. They apply to hotel partners who accept them during onboarding.
When commission applies
A platform commission is charged on successful bookings that originate from HotelsBidding bids or marketplace checkout. No commission is due merely for receiving a bid that is rejected or expires without a booking.
Commission rates
Default commission for HotelsBidding listings is fifteen percent (15.00%) of the booking amount settled through the platform. Negotiated / bidding-origin bookings may use the negotiation rate configured for the brand (currently twelve percent / 12.00% unless a written override applies). Rates are shown in basis points in platform configuration and may be updated with notice to partners.
Currency & settlement
Guest-facing Pricing Currency and hotel Settlement / Payout Currency may differ. Commission is calculated on the booking settlement amount recorded by the platform. HotelsBidding may collect traveler payment as merchant of record before remitting the hotel net amount.
Refunds & disputes
If a booking is refunded under platform rules, related commission and hotel payable amounts are adjusted through the finance ledger. Chargebacks and disputes may place payouts on hold until resolved.
Changes
HotelsBidding may update these commission terms. Material changes will be communicated to active hotel partners. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
